Postgraduate Yoga teacher with 15 years of practice

I am Dhanya, a professionally certified yoga instructor (500 YTT). I have been practicing yoga for the past 15 years and teaching for 3. I conduct in person classes in Chennai, India and online classes for people around the world.

I specialise in Hatha Yoga (using asanas to restore balance in the body), Bandas (blocking and releasing postures, to increase energy flow within) and Mudras (symbolic gestures).

I have a postgraduate diploma in Yoga Education from Vivekananda Yoga and Research Institute, Mysore, India.

I live in Chennai, India, where I train a group of students in advance yoga asanas. For all my students who are not local, or who are unable to attend in person, I conducts early morning classes for beginners online, via Zoom

LANGUAGES: I can guide you through my yoga classes in English or Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Tullu and Malayalam
